BAD AXE BUCKS GUIDELINES

What are Bad Axe Bucks? Bucks were designed to encourage people to shop locally, therefore keeping money in our local community. Bad Axe Bucks can be purchased in denominations of $5's, $10's and $20's and can only be redeemed by local chamber merchants. Members are listed on the back of each certificate.

What can Bad Axe Bucks be used for? They work just like cash and are great for gift giving, bonuses to employees, prize money for community events, etc.

Who can accept Bad Axe Bucks? As a chamber member you can receive payment for Bad Axe Bucks that you've accepted simply by presenting them at Signature Bank and they will issue you a Cashiers Check or if you bank there you can put them in with your deposits.

Who can purchase Bad Axe Bucks? Anyone

Where can Bad Axe Bucks be purchased? Currently Bucks can only be purchased from the chamber secretary, but to make them more available to the public they will be available for purchase at the following locations by 11/1/05: Bay Port State Bank; Northstar Bank; Signature Bank; Team One Credit Union.

Here is an example for the Bad Axe Bucks Certificate. There are four safety features used on each certificate to ensure that no fakes are cashed in.
